Details:
Soon after my arrival in NYC, I began working with Mark Nixdorf and Katherine Miller, cofounders of Annandale Recordings, on an album, now finished and entitled Delancey Street. Mark served as producer, chief engineer, arranger and bassist on the album while Katherine, a Grammy winning recording engineer, most recognized for her work in Latin music, served as additional engineer and editor. Other notables involved in the album include mastering engineer Emily Lazar of The Lodge and drummer Steve Holley who formerly played with Paul McCartney and Wings and who now plays with Dar Williams.

Most of my major rock/pop influences stemmed from my birthplace, England. As a child, the first music I was known to sing along to, was that of Sting and The Police. I believe (and not coincidentally) that this is evident in my melodies and vocal cadence. As a fellow pianist and songwriter I have always respected the work of Elton John, as there have been very few better than the Sir, himself. But here in America, few were more inspirational than Bruce Springsteen, whose classic, blue-collar, folksy musical doctrine spoke to me in ways many artists cannot in this new, commercialized world.
