Four Week Cycle:
Conceived in a small basement in Arlington Minnesota. MINNESOTA, the home of the sexual harassing yet ever so popular Vikings. The home of of marijuana that is grown only from the finest in southern Mexico and Northern Canada. The only place where you have 10,000 choices of where to drown. But enough of the great state of Minnesota and lets get down to our ballzy adventure of a band that is 4 week Cycle.
Joel Raffety was a young Jr. in high school with nothing to do, as well as Michael Haefs. Joel played guitar, Mike didn't. Joel taught Michael how to play, after many many sessions of abusing him and telling him he was never going to be good. Eventually he fell in love with haefs....joke. Andrew Streich was a friend of Joel and was in a Grade higher, he was busy with things like protein shakes and making weight for wrestling. Eventually he to fell into the trap that is music.
The pair that was Andrew and Joel started playing with Andrew's brothers band Kartoon, we won't mention them too much, otherwise there could be a copyright infringement. Eventually Mike got good enough to play Nirvana songs....yay. Brian Evans was the only member who was so good at what he did he made women cry by singing Earth Angel. Soon he was recruited into the band as the sexy front-man. During the early days they played with Kartoon as backup guitarist's, and did that so well that it was insane. Brian evans soon did songs with them as well. It all came together when they started doing shows for their high-school, a noble cause, but didn't quite do as well as hoped.
Over the years they played several bars around Minnesota and did so with precision, but original music is what they wanted to do. Andrew and Joel enrolled in college for audio technologies, and they started recording. The album was recorded over about a weeks time, some tracks recorded in their practice shop, and some in Joel's apartment.
Over the career the band has played in several battle of the bands, colleges, bars, and even conventions and has proved themselves as a real band. Rock on 4 Week Cycle.
