'The Haunt' formerly known as 'Sabrina' walk on the edge of alternative, modern rock and pop (Incubus, The Raconteurs, The Verve) while leaning heavily on its own infectious sound.

The band skillfully employs professional songwriting with an appropriately commercial sheen while never compromising the integrity of rock. âThe Hauntâ overall is an amazing group of seasoned musicians whom are vastly respected for their pure yet polished sound as well as lead singer and front woman Sabrinaâs stunning voice, sleek stage presence, and meaningful yet poetic lyrics that combined have captured the hearts of fans and media worldwide.

Formed in New York City in 2001, Sabrina gained exceptional popularity locally as well as globally with her debut CD entitled "Euphoria". Almost immediately the influx of live performance requests from local venues and colleges came in and it was apparent Sabrina and her guitarist/songwriter partner, Keith Pires could no longer do the simple low-key acoustic shows they were doing locally and shortly thereafter in 2002 a full band was formed to accommodate the local NJ/NYC club scene as well as giving the fans what they wanted.

While touring the âEuphoriaâ album, the band recorded a 2nd album entitled â7 Tales from a Basementâ released in 2004, which also received high praises from fans, press, and radio alike. And after touring that album, the band took a short break from live shows to write their newest CD entitled 'It's Good If You Like It" - just released Dec. 2006, âA must for current and new fans that desire professional and polished music without being overproducedâ.

Armed with a new identity, new songs, and local and international success, âThe Hauntâ plans on breaking through to new levels in 2007 with their new CD.

âThe Hauntâ were regulars at (the late) CBGB and CBâs Gallery in NYC and continue to be perform at legendary venues such as Continental, The Knitting Factory, Downtime, Don Hill's, ACME Underground as well as various other local venues & colleges.
