This CD is a synthesis of my way of feeling and thinking musically, culturally, emotionally. I am a living synthesis of the fusion of cultures and generations.
My parents arrived in Mexico as Jewish refugees of World War II.
From early age I was surrounded with music.
I listened to Mahler, Strauss, Schubert Ponce, Scatters Oteo, like boleros, rancheras songs sung by Jorge Negrete, Pedro Infant, Toña Negra or Marlene Dietrich, American musical comedy, French song and of course Elvis Presley, music of Bob Dylan, Chava Flowers etc.
That was the music of my childhood and youth.
