Hue J. the Hip-Hop Hippo has been around Atlanta, Ga. since 1996. Hue J. knew that hip-hop would become a dominant factor in the type of music kids listen to today.
Hue J. feels "The Children are the Future". The traditional teaching methods are not as effective today as they were years ago, and a new and creative approach to teaching is vital to the future of our youth. There must be a way to make kids enjoy learning again. What better way to accomplish this, than to pair up the lessons we want them to learn with something they are already doing. More than 85 of today's children enjoy listening to hip hop music. Our children are learning the lyrics of popular rap songs faster than any lesson plan their school teachers may devise. Therefore, Hue J. the Hip Hop Hippo has created a new CD entitled, "Do You Know Your Times Tables"? Kids can learn their multiplication facts while listening to "Old School", R&B and Hip Hop. The instrumental part lets kids recite any tables they want to practice.
