J'st Bryn A.R.C.H. Entertainment / Macc Mane productions went deep into the heart of St. Louis, into the darkest hood and found its soul, and his name is J'st Bryn. Born Bryan Barksdale, soul was embedded into him from his conception. As a youth, he recognized his vocal talent singing at his church, West End Mount Carmel Full Gospel Church, located on the west side of St. Louis. Later, Bryan became a regular in talent shows and integral member of various choirs, notably The Normandy High School Swing Choir, where he was trained by the incomparable Joan Brown of East St. Louis. Bryan later joined a gospel rap group, Du Czon, and they created a nice buzz throughout the Midwest. After four great years, the group decided to venture off onto their own projects. It was then that Bryan realized that now it's J'st Bryn. On the road to success he has joined with his cousin and long time friend to form A.R.C.H.. entertainment and one of the most talented up and coming producers, Brad Young. Since then, the sky has been the limit. J'st Bryn has already given the world a sample of his pure vocals through BET's 106 and Park Wild Out Wednesdays in May 2006. He has opened up for John Legend, Little Webbie, Fat Joe, Chingy, The St. Lunatics, as well as performed with other promotional shows where his talent has shined. J'st Bryn is not only a singer, he is a creative songwriter and great visionary that has developed the customary sound called Hood Soul, a blend of hood beats or rap tracks with soulful melodies on top. J'st Bryn and A.R.C.H. entertainment are currently teaming up with Stand Up Guys LLC, to bring you the soon to be platinum album, Hood Soul with the hot new singles "Fantasy Girl" and "I need Luv," coupled with the already buzzing track "What's Good". What happened to the days when the D.J. would spin the latest slow jam and even the hardest of men would grab the finest thing in sight and get their grind on? J'st Bryn has brought back the love to the club and the soul to the hood. The appeal of J'st Bryn is his down to earth reality.
