Singer/songwriter Klaus Ebert has released a CD of original childrenâs music that will surely please music loving kids and their parents alike. Rocket Boy is a collection of rock/pop oriented songs with childrenâs themes as lyrics.
With songs such as âRocket Boyâ, âHere Come da Trashtruckâ, âFunky Monkeyâ, âBoo Boo on my Kneeâ, âBouncing on the Bedâ and âThe Rainbow Trainâ, Klaus taps into subjects that all kids can relate to. The songs are upbeat and danceable, especially âGot to Keep on Dancingâ. âPea Soupâ explores the âleast favorite foodâ category, while the song âIce Creamâ should have the kids running to the fridge. Many parents will be familiar with the words to the song âToddlerâs Creed (Mine)â, which is a popular poem put to music. Rounding out the album are âThe Sleepy Songâ and âEarly Morningâ, a song that serves as a reminder to treasure the little things and to make every moment count.
Klaus, who now makes his home in Thousand Oaks, CA, has been an active musician and composer since his teens. In the seventies while living in Germany, he toured and recorded with the seminal kraut-rock band âAmon Düül 2â. The band â18 Karat Goldâ, which he founded with Jörg Evers and included members Keith Forsey and Lothar Meid, toured and recorded with the German singer Peter Maffay as his back-up band. Klaus also recorded two albums with fellow Amon Düül 2 member Stefan Zauner, who later started the band âMünchener Freiheitâ.
Klaus Ebertâs CD Rocket Boy is being released by August Child Records and published by August Child Publishing. Rocket Boy - available now throughout the Milky Way.
