Like the FORD Company Garland... errr - Spyder G decided to "RETHINK" his market position and utilize all of his resources as a respected artist among his colleagues. "I wanted to take a year off after spending two years promoting 'Dimensions of Faith' (Nominated for Outstanding Christian Album Recording and Best Album Design PMA 2001), and not really "feelin'" the kinda success I was hopin' for ...you know.â âI didn't wanna to blame anyone in my management or otherwise... I just got to that point as an indie where it seemed like I hit a brick wall, and nothinâ seemed to shake it. So I had to make some important decisions."

So that's what he did and out came this "New Vehicle" of bumpin' hip hop Anthems, caressing praise worthy Thug-lovinâ rhymes, melded together by some good 'ole fashion Old school back beats. This first single "Hip Hop Anthem" is said to be ââ¦the one to blow up off the charts like Pele on Steroids!â â S.G.

âOn a personal level I think that this is the most honest work Iâve accomplished yet. I donât wanna sound like Iâm blowing my own whistle but I really think this will be quite successful! And to answer your next question⦠yes I had to get into a totally different headspace for this album! It was a heck of a challenge! Not because of any âskill-setâ reasonsâ¦(laughs) âoh⦠not at allâ. Iâve always been articulating enough to translate exactly what I want to say to any jargon, which Iâm addressing. It was a challenge because; and when listening to the album youâll realize this⦠I had to revisit many repressed and belligerent times â experiences of my friends that significantly affected me and even some of my own parodies.â S.G

âIt is my wish that my previous fans will listen to this album and recognise the reality check behind such vibes as: â2 guys 1 heartâ, âFixatedâ, âWhy did Uâ, âSomebodyâs Somebodyâ and âCanât hide prettyâ. The new Spyder G Album "URBANISMS fo Rreaall..." will be available in stores October 21, 2004.
