Chillhouse, shower of Sound was a project between projects. It was done when I was looking for samples and ideas, that I plaid around with another program, (ACID)that I got into matching my own self made melodies and ejay samples with pop drums or dance drums. And of course when I write drums, then they allways turn into something wilder and fuller. And a picture came into my mind, that was a memory of a female friend long time ago.

Gaby used to wear white american western boots when we were out and about, going around the discos and nightclubs in and around Baden Baden.......
she used to dance in heavy sort of way, her boots were banging always onto the dancefloors and extlay to the tact of course of disco music. This picture used then, I wanted to have the drums like to the old disco sounds and that people could dance to it, that means it is a bit slower then todays beat, but perfect to dance to.

The next thing I wanted was to use synth orchestra, synth samples, or my own written material to reflect something light , beautyful, uncomplicate and airy sounds. This was as well easier done, what was then difficult was the singing onto these melodies because I wanted it to have a perfect dance theme, but as well to put my stamp onot and totally ignor typical love song rubbish.
