All of Fifteen's genre of ill-tempered pollinating aggressive punk with haunting and beautiful pop sensibility has caught more than a few ears in the 3 years they have been together. Meeting in 1998 through mutual acquaintances, All of Fifteen had its humble beginning in a small but well soundproofed room on Charlottesville's south side. With frequent visitors it's a miracle they got any practicing done but managed to pen a number of songs the first few months together.

In April, 1999 they began recording a 4 song demo and started playing regular shows in Charlottesville, Richmond, and Washington, DC. Later in the year (as the demo was finished) they had written more songs and were eager to scrap the demo to work on a full-length album. Preparations began in early 2000 and by June they had booked time at Montana Studios (Avail, Hot Water Music, GWAR) in Richmond, VA. With the help of Engineers Ryan Larkin and David Edwards they laid down 10 tracks in 2 days for their first album 'Away Game'. It was released in August of 2001 on their own Glass Tube Records and in their '82 Dodge Ram conversion van they set off on a short regional tour to support it - booked, managed, funded, and driven entirely by them.

All of Fifteen has always been a firm supporter of the DIY ethic booking their own shows, hanging flyers, promoting, and even designing and silk-screening their own merchandise. It is from co-operation with other bands, individuals, and organizations that they have helped make themselves into a fixture of the blossoming central Atlantic independent music scene.
