This CD "...and the mission begins" is an enhanced CD containing a 14 minute QuickTime movie showing an entertaining look at the making of this album in addition to the infectous 12 audio tracks.

Danny Winn and the Earthlings is an original modern day Ska band based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They have won several "New Mexico Music Industry Awards" and have been performing out in the New Mexico music scene since February 2002. They recently earned the title "Albuquerque's Best Band" after winning the best band competition at a local hot spot. Danny Winn, a long time Albuquerque musician formed the band in the fall of 2001. After their first CD was released, it became difficult to keep in stock, and more and more requests for live shows were becoming a common occurence. After much hard work and a relentless show schedule performing throughout the state, and even opening for such acts as legendary ska bands "Goldfinger" and "The Toasters", a loyal crowd following is ever growing from show to show. Now after the release of their third album entitled "...and the mission begins", their resolve to expand their fanbase world wide is a goal that they believe is indeed in reach.
