Details:
Alpha Wave Movement is the project of Gregory Kyryluk who has been recording electronic music since the mid 1990s. Alpha Wave Movement specializes in deep ambient space music in the style of Steve Roach , John Serrie and Tangerine Dream.
Bislama is a collabration of Alpha Wave Movement and harmonic overtone singer Jim Cole fronts the harmonic vocal group Spectral Voices. Jim Cole studied throat cantabile and has explored using studio technology to create and new twist on traditional eastern vocal music.
Bislama weaves the ethereal and emotional vocalizations of Jim Cole with synthesizers and samplers creating a timeless eastern soundcapes full of distant chants and alien asian percussion. Much of the music was improvised as in "Bali Twilight" and "Satari" direct to the digital format so it has a fresh and intimate feel.
