Details:
Dennis Key is an Englishman living in Santa Barbara, California. He started his career singing in bands, in Worcester, in the UK.

Early contemporaries were Dave Mason, and Jimmy Capoldi, founder members of Traffic. Dennis, and Dave, went to school together. They later had rival bands, and would jam together after gig's in Birmingham, England. Dennis later moved to New York, and worked doing jingles for companies such as "Stroh's beer" and "Branif airlines."

After moving to California in 89, Dennis played bass, and did backup singing for a variety of projects, along the way, these songs among others were written.
After his last band (Duece Duece)broke up in Jan 2001, while recording their debut CD " Live Like Kings, Dennis was left with time on his hands, and as these songs needed
to be developed,he decided to record them himself, at home.
In September 2002 Dennis suffered a serious accident on the very motorcycle pictured on the front of his CD cover,
and was not able to take them to the studio, but decided to release the CD on CD Baby anyway,as it was thought he would never play an instrument again.
After 18 months convalescing, Dennis has started to play his instruments again, and has been asked by some of his old musician friends to play bass in a new band, "Whiskey Tango". One of the members of this band was Daniel French on lead guitar. Dennis and Daniel had both been members of "Deuce Deuce"
September 2006. Now mostly recovered, and also able to play guitar again , Dennis has recorded a new CD called " Green Reeds" with his new musical partner Daniel French. See French " n " Key, Green Reeds. Also here for sale on CD Baby.
