Sands Of Time (CD Individual Bi-Lingual) Songs

Details:
This recording is truly a bi-lingual CD individual.
Alan Merrill wrote these songs in 1971, and recorded them with his Tokyo founded glam rock band Vodka Collins. The original vinyl individual was discharged in the summer of 1973, in the Japanese language, and was a double A-Sided 45 rpm hit individual on the EMI Toshiba label.
The Japanese lyrics were written by drummer Hiroshi Oguchi with some (uncredited) help from his then girlfriend, legendary romantic lyricist Yasui "ZuZu" Kazumi. The two songs are now a staple on Japanese classic rock radio, as they appear on the band Vodka Collins "Tokyo-New York" album.
In the millennium Alan Merrill went back into the studio and re-recorded these songs. Most of all because although he wrote the songs originally in English, there had never been discharged versions in the English language.
The two songs are presented here in both languages, English and Japanese.
It's something just a little bit different!
