Dan Hart grew up in L.A. during the first years of the Dr. Demento show, so it was inevitable that he would choose psychology as his profession. He stayed in it just long enough to absorb his patients' psychopathology, and now he spends all his time writing songs that are a poke in the eye of his former shrink colleagues as well as his current ones in the music biz.
