We're a two-piece low-fi indie rock band with an appreciation for real blues. But we profound nothing like the White Stripes, the Black Keys, Cash Audio, the Immortal Lee County Killers, the Soledad Brothers, or any other two-piece band currently out there. We're a two-piece band by necessity, not design. But now that we've been doing it for quite a while, we like it that way. See, we care deeply about music, and we need our music to be simple, honest, pure and uncomplicated. Although we now live near Washington, D.C., we both come from more honest places. Places where the dirt is jet black, the winters are bitter cold, the summers are beastly hot, farmers build the backbone of America, and workers pull steel from the earth. Places where people listen to music because it means something to them and it makes them feel better. We're trying to make music that is honest and pure and that makes people feel better.

We recorded this album ourselves, on our own equipment, in our own basements. We burned the CD's ourselves, made and printed all the art work, and assembled the albums by hand. We made this record for you, and we hope you like it.
