Emergency Service is a New York City based band that combines hip-hop, rock, funk, and reggae styles of music, along with conscious lyrics that make it impossible to forget the emergency that is taking place all around us in the world each and every day.

Singer songwriter Sammy G and lyricist Aureliam joined forces 2 years ago and began creating unique, thought-provoking songs that they first started playing as a duo around the New York City open mic scene. After receiving an extremely positive reception, the two embarked on a mission to create a full band that could bring an explosive live show and add musical depth to their sound. They brought in trumpet, drums, bass, lead guitar and keys, and thus, the band collectively known as âEmergency Serviceâ was born. Over the past year and a half the band has been headlining weekend shows at all the hottest New York City clubs, developing a strong following and base of fans that love the energy and originality of a music that canât fit into one genre. This past summer, Emergency Service came together to record their first full-length album âThis Emergency...â as an independent release. The production culminated in a packed Album Release Show at New York Cityâs âCrash Mansionâ in Soho.

In 2007, Emergency Service plans to tour in support of their first album, and to bring their music and their message to as many people as they can.
