Details:
If Rap icon Krs-One had his way and Hip-Hop one day became an organized religion, than his native borough of the Bronx would no doubt be its Mecca, its Jerusalem. Every year, thousands of heads from around the world make a pilgrimage to the stem of the Rotten Apple to get a first hand look at the place that started it all. With so many Hip-Hop fans complaining about the state of the music, some feel they must turn to the place that birthed the game to find the one who will resurrect it.

ENOT, known as âBoogie Downâs Boldestâ, is an emcee that embodies Hip-Hop in its purest form. The young rapperâs style is as colorful but intricate as the graffiti artwork that covers the buildings on
his streets. His playful style and live stage shows remind us why true heads always traveled Uptown when they wanted to really party, yet his street credibility is as solid as the concrete blocks of Gun Hill Road or the walls of the Grand Concourse.

Still, what he feels sets him apart from all chain swinging, gun toting emcees is his originality. âIâm not afraid to experiment or approach the music from a different point of viewâ. Case in point: His raunchy lead single âFASTERâ, which invites the ladies to do just that do it âFASTERâ. Tracks such as this one and the jeep-speaker breaker âGET THIS MONEYâ broadened his appeal past state lines and earned him a fan base which is still growing via the internet and college radio nationwide. Among his most avid supporters is H-town producer Remo Gunz( SuaveHouse, Innercircle, Paid In Full), who after hearing the Bronx bomber, has fully endorsed him as one to look out for.

Ask the East Coast hardrock and proud Dominicano who first steered his attention from the television sitcoms to the speaker and the answer is a well known Compton producer in a White Sox hat. âFirst tape I got my hands on was âThe Chronicâ.â The gangsta soundtrack featuring a smooth and charismatic Calvin Broadus would define the next years to come for ENOT . âI played that tape everyday 'til it poppedâ.

When he finally settled in New York for good from D.R., It was only a matter of time until Hip-hop consumed his whole life. From hanging on a farm in the Caribbean to battling seasoned emcees
on Forty-Deuce, the quick change of pace forced ENOT to step his game up and he started defeating all challengers from all boroughs.

Knowing full well that the legends he idolized made their name in the vocal booth and not on the stoops, he started recording a demo with Brooklynite producer and friend Advance, who ENOT credits with
teaching him song structures and flows. The recording of his demo also had him rubbing elbows with future stars Midi-Mafia, who then belonged to East New Yorkâs SupaGroup US.
After perfecting his style and addictive personality in studios and on stages, ENOT started to record his debut album, christened âTHE PASTPORTâ, since no longer able to control the urge most ambitious emcees have to be heard. The disc showcases the Uptown rhyme slinger at his creative best with lyrics that effortlessly range from humorous to heartfelt.

In the spirit of true school Emcee/Producer tandems, such as Pete Rock and Cl Smooth, OC and Buckwild, Showbiz and AG and of course Krs-One and Scott LaRock, production is almost entirely handled by the new producer who has all industry A&Râs buzzing : BX brethren C-Sharp, fresh off lacing Queens duo THE LONGSHOTS as well as 106 and Park champion NOVA. As for ENOT, the sky is the limit and he fully intends on bringing the crown back to his borough, proving all things in life come full circle. In the famous words of Kris Parker: Bronx keeps creating it.
