A psychedelic story about two young lovers who find themselves alone, lost, and in search of one another in the midst of an out-of-season and unwelcome blizzard. As they wander the orchards and landscapes of Apple Mountain, they are faced with great obstacles.
The Mountain Movers sat down one day to tell the story of "Apple Mountain". No easy task, an 8-track cassette recorder was set up to preserve the tale. The fourth full length release by this New Haven, Connecticut band is a leap from their previous large production studio records. Every sound on the album has been carefully damaged by the band for maximum deficiency. As a service to you, the listener, effort has been made to keep everyone in the whole affair disoriented. That effort was met with great success. Included with the double LP is a lyric/picture book to help you follow along. This is a 3 sided record; side D has been left blank so that one may reflect. Limited to 250 and housed in a double wide jacket, the front and back covers feature beautiful photography from Kurt Huemiller. Vinyl also includes a digital copy via CD, courtesy of the band.
