In the lab, a team of unscrupulous scientists attempt to mutate a protein molecule in order to affect future food supplies in numerous countries around the globe, no doubt for unethical and immoral gains.

The experiment goes wrong, and from the ashes Darc Cyclin is born. How? No one is sure. Why? Perhaps divine intervention, perhaps pure coincidence, but most probably the affect of a chemical reaction not yet understood by the greatest minds of our time. Nonetheless Darc Cyclin is born; A living, breathing ghostlike creature which quickly begins to identify its surroundings and learn at a alarming rate posing what would appear to be a very real threat to all life throughout the world, or so it would seem.

After unsuccessful attempts to restrain and control Darc Cyclin the government decides its must be destroyed. All attempts to destroy this new life form are thwarted with anyone attempting to cause harm suddenly finding it impossible to move, stuck in an immovable limbo, not requiring food, nor water and stuck for eternity in the same position. Attempts of rescue were soon banned as the rescuers would meet with the same fate as the now tortured human statues.

With the powers that be unable to control, capture or destroy the supposed enemy, Darc Cyclin is left alone.

Over time, DC as it becomes known, starts doing wonderful things around the globe. The worlds soils are no longer bedraggled from overuse and plentiful crops grow more rapidly than ever before. Weaponry becomes impossible to use and love throughout the world grows as fear declines.

The planet enters a state of sustained peace.

Years later, and with zero conflict around the globe DC suddenly disappears...
