Antonio de la Malena, muy conocido como acompañante para bailaores (ha ganado el premio como mejor cantaor del Festival de Flamenco de Jerez de la Frontera en 2008) también es cantaor solita por delante. Aquí nos regala con su bulerias a golpe, acompañado por sus amigos que le tocan el compás por una mesa y le animan con jaleo.

Antonio de la Malena, famous for his skill in accompanying dancers (he was chosen as best singer in the prestigious flamenco festival of Jerez de la Frontera of 2008), also excels in the demanding setting of a solo recital. As soloist, he is known for the profundity of his singing and his command of the numerous flamenco forms, especially seguiriyas, solea, solea por bulerias and, of course, bulerias. As recently as his recital in October, 2010, critics hailed his cante as being so forceful as to be "hair-raisingâ¦eliciting deafening ¡olés! and applause from the audienceâ¦." Because of his perfect pitch, and mastery of rhythm and compás, his bulerias is a delight to listen to, whether sung with guitar or as solo voice.
