Traditional Country
12 MP3 Songs
COUNTRY: Traditional Country, EASY LISTENING: Crooners/Vocals
Dog, Nashville Title Songs
Details:
Born: 07-28-52 in Ferriday, Louisiana. Inflated between Ferriday, La. and Roxie, Neglect Dad was an oilfield worker and we affected back and forth.
Grew up on Magisterial Ole' Opry radio. Enlightened to play guitar around 13 years old. Uncle Don Goodger taught me a few chords before he affected to Texas and the rest I learned on my own.
Began writing songs after I learned my first 4 chords
( C,Am,F,& G7 ). Writing came natural. Gift from above I
guess. Went to Nashville back in '73 made a little record
but it took me 2 years to get the money to relaese it and
by then the trend had changed I didn't stand a chance. I
was married and began to raise children & grandchildren and
decided to continue writing but I never got the chance to go
back to Nashville 'till 30 years later. Guess it's like they say, better late than never.
Any way enough about me hope you enjoy my songs.
Sincerely,
Allen Lee Turner, The Dog'
