A multi-talented, extremely versatile individual that spends every extra minute of everyday developing, creating, composing and thinking music. Louis has been around music since the age of 4. A self-taught, disciplined person that gives 150 when it comes to his second love, music. I have seen him play the keyboards and at the same time pick up the flute, guitar, trumpet or any other instrument, to fill in the melody. He programs the drum machine before the piece starts and just like magic all the breaks, fills, verses are right there, on time and in sequence. I am still trying to figure how he does that. He has no boundaries as to the type of music he plays, but he prefers jazz. All types of jazz, smooth, acid, straight ahead, fusion, dance, funk. I don't think there is anyone today that is more dedicated to accomplishing the level of talent this man has shown. He has been a member of Acidplanet.com since 2004 where he has a growing following and is a favorite on many other artists websites. I forgot to add, this artist holds down a 10 - 12 hour a day job, recording music, listening to/ assisting up and coming artist is not his full time occupation but with his energy and involvement, it goes way beyond being a hobby. On October 8, 2006 his 2nd CD âFunkamaticâ was released. At the now defunct âTower Recordsâ disc signing, all 2500 hot off the press first issues were sold out in less than an hour. The CD release ceremony was held for this accomplished artist, composer, computer-musician on the waterfront. When asked about the next major assignment, he quietly said, â I think Iâd like to do a soundtrack for a movie.â I feel if it turns out anything like his past efforts, this reporter canât wait.
