Moses was born in Uganda East Africa. The son of John Wanume, a crane operator but most important a passionate follower of Jesus. It is here that the foundations of his life were built.
In 1996 Moses moved to Phoenix Arizona where he went to school graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in worship from Grand Canyon University.
Mosesâ musical career began early in life when at the age of thirteen he yielded to a deep passion for worship music and taught himself how to play the keyboard. It was around this time that Moses heard the call to minister through his gift to the nations- it is this call through numerous words of prophesy over his life that drive Mosesâ passion to faithfully walk out Godâs destiny to this day.
Mosesâ musical sound is a fusion of the African rhythms he heard growing up and the different styles he has encountered in America. This flows from a native creativity within him, but also from a conviction that heaven is a place of incredible diversity. As a son of Africa residing in America, God has strategically placed Moses in a position to bridge musical styles of the east and west, resulting in a richer worship experience.
Mosesâ passion is for people to taste the beauty of worship by experiencing the dance of transcendence and immanence; mystery and revelation in a setting that allows all Godâs children from every tribe and nation to give voice to the symphony of His praise. This desire drives Moses to write songs that are not all overtly Christian but are musically interesting as well as theologically sound.
In 2006 Moses released his first project Sacred Dance, and his sophomore project Our God was released In July 2009. Moses is currently the worship pastor of The Springs Foursquare Church in Chandler Arizona.
