Details:
In a docile town few people have heard of, a six-year-old boy sits on a narrow stairway with his mother and raises a question, "Why are we alive if we're only gonna die?" That's how it began, with a question.
Michael Paul takes you from his birthplace of Washington Park, RI, through a musical gauntlet of emotions and the decades that have passed since that day on the steps, to reconcile the answer. In spite of ruling adversities, un-forseen weak links and losses, Michael's soul and soles carried many bands onto the stages of famous rock-n-roll venues  The Channel, The Living Room, The Whisky, The Troubadour and The Roxy are some of his favorites.
By the turn of the millennium he had attained extensive studio recording and live performance experience in both Boston and Los Angeles. Some of his album credits include: "Under The Gun" by Steel Blue, "Highway" by Gridlock and "Crack In The Velvet Orange" by Deep Under Green. Currently a resident of the Golden State, Michael is continuously crafting his conflict-unwinding melodies from a portable isolation booth in Studio City. This multi-talented rock innovator, though no stranger to the benefits of collaboration, is the sole creator of the recently released seven-song EP titled, Repetitive Motion Syndrome.
Are you still wondering what answer that six-year-old boy got from his mother? Perhaps you will find it in the music of ÂA L P H A N A U T, what creator Michael Paul describes as "An amusement park for the soul."
