Comedy songs were my favorite when I was that childhood dreaming age. No astronaught, fireman or policeman for me. I wanted to sing and write songs like the ones on my K-tel albums and Doctor Demento radio show. Singing along with the radio became singing without the radio while hearing the music in my head. I remember telling my dad that I liked singing like the people on the radio. He asked me why I don't sing like myself.
And so began my interest in singing like myself. I would need my own songs. When I was ready to begin, I went back to my beginning. Presented here are twelve original comedy songs which I hope will be enjoyed and perhaps will even inspire others to comidify the musical airwaves, or webwaves as the case may be. Happy listening.
