The Bawu and Hulusi are from Southwestern China and are associated with the Dai minority. The Nan Xiao is the traditional Chinese end blown flute. The Tenor Double Ocarina is from the workshop of JC Hind, the Bass Double Ocarina was made by Allan Albright. The Irish Whistle is a gift from itâs maker, Patrick OâRiordan. The Bamboo Sax is a Maui Xaphoon from the workshop of Brian Lee Whitman. The Suling is from Sumatra and the Shruti Box is by Monoj Kumar Sardar from India.
My especial thanks to Cindy Beaulé and my son Aaron Pollitt for their unwavering love and support.
These pieces are dedicated to my Mom, Shirley Pollitt, who sings great, donât let her tell you any different.
