Details:
Stan has been performing for audiences since the age of 8 years old, and released his first album in August of 2008, after being discovered and encouraged to do so by International Music Promoter, and 2009 Promoter of the year, Gary Bradshaw, and Nashville Record Producer, Lonnie Ratliff. Stan records on the Western Heart label, and is represented by Western Heart Promotions.
With the release of his 1st album "Runnin' Down The Road", Stan was welcomed to country music radio worldwide. Reviewers quoted as saying "Stan lends his strong sultry vocals to each and every song, with so much believability to each word, that the listener doesn't just 'listen' to the song, but 'lives' the song."

Born in Texas but raised in Oklahoma, Stan Cox inherited his love of music from his Dad, Donley, and fine tuned his bass guitar skills at a early age. At a young age, Stan found himself playing music along side his Dad, and other adult members. While his friends were going to parties and FFA meetings, Stan was helping provide the entertainment for those occasions.
Paying his dues in any honky tonk, bar, club, or dancehalls, was a pleasure for Stan, and soon led to working with the "Oasis Band" that played for , and opened for, many Country Music Legends, including Jerry Reed, Hank Thompson, Johnny Paycheck, Johnny Bush, Faron Young and more. Married to the love of his life, and manager, LaDanna, the two of them soon found they shared the passion for music, and started writing songs together. Stan describes his music as "Mod'ditional", because his songs are Modern country music with a GREAT BIG dose of Traditional Country.

Stan & LaDanna's love for children would soon lead them to become foster parents, although they had 5 children of their own. Soon they found that the kids that came to live with them, needed permanent parents, and adopted 10 more children. Stan recorded a song written by Irish born songwriter, Sean Murray, that portrays his love for children, "Through Children's Eyes", and it is a beautiful poignant tune, that tells of the love children have for their parents, and the song features 3 of Stan's own children, Hayley age 9, Jacob age 8, and 4 year old Madison. Pete Ware from Parrot Records in Spain, produced the music track. Stan states that "Pete is a genius when it comes to capturing the essence of a song." Pete is known for his work with recording sensation, Charlie Landsborough.
When asked if they would adopt more children in the future, Stan laughs and says "if any kid needs us, we need them." Today, Stan is concentrating on the singing/songwriting part of his career, hoping to have that one song that becomes a part of Country Music history.

2009 ended with a 'bang' for Country Singer/Songwriter/Performer, Stan Cox. "Hits" , the proclaimed Internet Indie Play Authority, slaps Stan into the #69 slot of most Internet Radio Airplay's for the year 2009, in their list of 100 top plays. The #69 slot was for a song from Stan's yet to be released album titled "Angel's, Trucker's & Honky'Tonk Nights". "Hard Rain Comin' Down", written by prolific songwriter/producer, Lonnie Ratliff, has had a successful run since being released as a single in late September of 2009.
