WHO?
SIMPL3JACK is a three-piece indie pbunck band from Northern California.

WHAT?
Take your favorite punk rock albums, and throw them into a blender with a few of your favorite traditional blues and rock albums. Just to spice things up â add some noise pop and just a pinch of urban rap. The delicious treat that is SIMPL3JACK is now ready for consumption. The specific ingredients for âpbunckâ music are the likes of The Dead Kennedys, Junior Kimbrall, Bad Brains, Quasimoto, Husker Du, X, NWA, Bob Dylan, The Flaming Lips, Wu Tang Clan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Death, Nirvana, and Led Zeppelin.

WHOâS IN?
Cole Apperson loves everything guitar. Chunking rhythm riffs like Bob Mould, and bending blues licks inspired by Chuck Berry- thatâs what Cole loves to do best. Coleâs vocals are influenced by the punk legends he has studied with care like John Doe and Bobby Hackney. Ryan Kendall is happiest thumping away on his Jaguar Bass showing off what the hours of listening to Flea and Michael Ivins have produced. Wyatt Cermak smashes the drums in the spirit of Earl Hudson and John Bonham.

WHAT DO WE DO?
We spend just about all of our time playing music: writing, rehearsing, and recording. When we arenât in the studio, we are out on our skateboards, or out seeing our favorite bands play shows. We also love to film and post stupid videos just to see what funny comments we can get. We have been lucky enough to play some really great shows over the past few years. We have played everything from talent shows, car shows, and fundraisers to Concerts in the Park, a Neil Young Tribute, and an opening for Frank Hannon (Tesla). We love to see the crowdâs reaction at our shows. We have gained a lot of fans lately. Our Facebook likes and YouTube hits are starting to go crazy. Our self-titled album was just released in February 2011 on our own label Holy War Entertainment. Take a listen and see what you think. Better yet â come out and see us play.
