Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, 14 year old Zack was never one to follow the masses to the pop music scene. Growing up he was exposed to the Classic rock and Blues of an older generation. Zack picked up his first guitar at the age of twelve, and progressed quickly. When it came time to buy a new guitar, he earned the money by roofing his familyâs house at age 13.
New guitar in hand, Zack quickly learned the licks of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, and Pink Floyd and even some great Bluesman such as Earl Hooker and B.B. King.
One night at a show when the lead singer was late to arrive, he got his first shot at singing and did not disappoint. Zack has been lucky enough ever since to play some of the great venues around St. Petersburg, Florida with the band âOut by Nineâ
This CD was completely self-performed and self-produced by Zack and he even turned down the opportunity to have it âOvermasteredâ or Auto-tuned, proudly placing a no auto tune label on the front. We hope you enjoy!
