Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Dan Jury made Tokyo his home for the last 12 years. Over that period of time heâs been a radio DJ, he runs his own record label and is the main songwriter and vocalist for several bands, including the Tokyo
indie rock band Squadcar and the electro rock band The Okay Idea. This is Danâs first solo release, he has teamed up with longtime collaborator âSuper Samirâ to come up with his most personal offering yet: tracks that up to now have been hiding in his notebook. Dan is a storyteller. While he tries to stay upbeat and catchy with his music, he aspires to capture both the hopefulness and tragedy of the human heart.
