"Hatinokot"("The Babies") was founded in 1999, a period in which Israeli radio started playing mainly electronic music, Trance and Dance, and there was no one arround who really, really played Rock'n'Roll.
The Band quickly became the "talk of the town" and played to packed clubs around town, all the while refusing recording contracts offered by Israeli record labels.
Band founder and lead singer, Ziv Rubinstein, prefered maintaining his integrity and artistic freedom rather than give in to industry preasure and refused to dilute the band's straight-edged Rock'n'Roll by having to make it more "radio freindly".
In 2001, after a show, the band was approached by Luis Lahav (who among others produced Bruce Springstean, and is regarded as one of Israel's top producers), who offered is support and suggested the band record their music independedtly..
The results can be heard in this album. I have no doubt, that anyone who devotes a few minutes to listening to the "Hatinokot's" music, will fall in love with it instantly. The thunderous drums, the lush, screaming distorted guitars, combined with heart-felt melodies and moving power balads.
The Language may be hebrew, but the international language of rock, so evident in "Hatinokot's" music, is sure to reach the hearts and minds of rock lovers all over the world.
