This demo is a wonderful portrait of the music Joel, Russ Ragsdale, and Jacob Jolliff composed and arranged together.
The album features acoustic guitars, mandolin, djembe, trumpets, piano, and vocals. Combined, the demo offers âtremendous lyrical cadence, suggestive harmonies, just overall quality and heart...â according to one listener.
The three musicians started jamming a couple years back, and after a few session felt a great connection both as friends and musicians. After some time Joel and his wife were moving east, and the three felt it would be good to record some of their songs - for memories sake. However, the songs were heard by a few other friends, and after being encouraged to make a demo they put this cd together.
