Kingz Kidz has been established since June 02, 2006. Kingz Kidz vision is to replace the negative music that is flooding peoples mind with positive music. Through their ministry, lives will be changed and yokes will be broken in honor of our King (Jesus Christ).
Kingz Kidz consists of Melvin Garrett (Gospel Rap Minister) and Antoine Hilton (Gospel Inspirational Singer). Both of them have a testimony that can reach many. Antoine Hilton was an R&B singer whose career came to a dead end because of the purpose God had for him. He realized that no matter what he has accomplished, only what he do for Christ will last. Melvin Garrett was a victim of the system. While incarcerated he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. God then anointed him to write his first gospel rap. Now they are both save young men with a purpose.
Melvin is the second oldest of five boys. Antoine is the second youngest of five boys and two sisters. Their parents are a part the same ministry (âTHE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GODâ). Melvin and Antoine grew up in the church and as the prodigal son, they strayed. They returned by the mercy of God.
Kingz Kidz are no strangers to the music world. In their travels of their save and unsaved lives they were bless to tour and collaborate with well known artists such as Bad Boyâs Gâ Dep and Black Rob, Macey Grey, Darnell from former group Solo, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Donnie McClurkin and many others. They are very active in their community performing for their Mayorâs local assemblies.
They have been recognized for their achievements receiving Tiffany Gospel and McDonaldâs Gospel Fest Awards etc. Having leading roles in Broadway and off Broadway plays such as âSilver Singlesâ and âThe Other Side Of the Worldâ has helped them gain more notoriety.
God has gifted these young men to produce, write and arrange music for
others as well as themselves. Kingz Kidz style has a unique anointing that God is using to gain souls. With their smooth melodic sound and metaphoric lyrics they are destined to change the music industry, inspiring young and old alike.
Kingz Kidz released their album titled âCANâT STOP WHAT GOD STARTEDâ and produced their live DVD performance titled âGHETTOS NEED A HEROâ. As Kids of the King (Jesus Christ) they are ready to walk in their authority.
