ORLANDO SONGWRITER RECOGNIZED BY INTERNATIONAL CONTEST

Orlando native, published author and BMI registered songwriter, Kathy Cisneros, received the honor of being named a top five Finalist in 2004, by the Song of the Year, an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1âs Save the Music Foundation. Song of the Year recognized Kathy Cisneros for her exceptional songwriting ability for the song, âNo Matter Where You Areâ. Kathy competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor. When asked what inspired the song, Kathy commented that true love cannot be diminished by distance and her song was an expression of those feelings.
