Featuring the primary production of up and coming talent Lamec (Harlem, NYC), Rezult opted to flex her own production muscle on two of the albums thirteen tracks.Adorned by rave street reviews and with a video for her first single "Could've Been" in regular local rotation, Rezult's career came to a sudden halt in March 2001 as she mourned the passing of her father who was her primary musical influence. In late 2004 she stepped back into the Hip-Hop arena in a big way.
Rezults' decision to re-release "Life's Consequences" comes as the Hip-Hop industry is experiencing a drought when it comes to "real emcees". "There's a void that exists in hip-hop when it comes to female emcees...somebody has to fill it" Rezult stated in a recent interview. Anyone who's heard Life's Consequences or one of her various mixtape freestyles will agree that The Lady Rezult has the ability to force any emcee to step their game up. Backed by Lamec's signature snare, The Lady Rezult rides track after track with a flow that proves to be unmatched by any female emcee to date.
