Sky was born in Ahlen, Germany as Ronny Roman Bunke (1956). At fifteen he met Memphis Slim at the Montreaux Jazz festival and set his sight on music. He reached the United States in 1983 and set up a recording studio across the Bay from San Francisco. His debut album Dreams was released in 1988. Six years later he started touring with his own music throughout the United States. In 1999 he finished Union his sixth Studio CD, a solo effort on the Piano, Guitar, Flute, Bouzouki, Synthesizer and Sitar.

Skyâs music is featured on over 30 CD compilations,
alongside well-known artists like Enya, Yanni and Vangelis.

His CD'S have been sold in the U.S.A., Europe and the Far-East and the music is being heard on Radio and TV stations around the world. The Alternative Network for Education and Healing ( A.T.E.N.) is recommending Born in Silence, Beyond Passion and Khemennu as a tool for healing.

âSun and Rainâ from the CD Born in Silence and the CD Dreams, are called classics by TIME LIFE and the syndicated radio show Musical Starstreams.

Sky now lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico and is working on a new CD.
