"26" is the debut album from Muhammad Ayers, aptly titled for it's significance because in his words it has taken 26 years to develop a sound that is as rich in spirit, diverse, and soulful as Mr. Ayers himself. It is not often that an artist comes along that is not only a gifted singer in his own right, but who also produced, wrote, and performed all of his own material himself. That's right, every sound that you will hear, from the open spaced club smash "V.I.P.", to the near live instrumentations and arrangements of "Forgive me", all the way to the sure fire radio hits of "Nothing Better", and "Call Me", everything was performed, and concieved by Mr. Ayers himself. Drawing from such influences as Stevie Wonder to Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes, Muhammad has always stood by and believed in being self-sufficient, so that he may bring you the best that he has to offer as an artist.
