Music has taken Molly Dean across the globe to London, England, and Amsterdam, Holland for both academic study & performance. It was upon returning to Minneapolis in 2001 when she began to seriously develop her musical career as a solo artist. Incorporating the RC 20 Loop Station into her live shows, which allows her to weave vocal and instrumental harmonies, truly sets her apart from the archetypal female folk artist. Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter Molly Dean has been gracing stages across the Twin Cities and surrounding areas for almost four years. Through affilation with The College Agency, her student fan-base extends to colleges throughout the upper Mid-West, and continues to strengthen with each show added to the touring schedule. Future goals for Molly include earning an Associate of Science degree in Sound Arts (2007), and completing her 3rd independently released full-length CD within the next two years.

At this phase in my musical life, I am playing a guitar & weaving vocal harmonies through an effects pedal in attempt to create something simple, yet intriguing and beautiful to the ear. As influences in life are ever-changing, my desire to create grows in many different directions. My second CD 'Resonate' captures where I am, musically, for now...
It is a collection of observations I have made in life, whether it be through my own relationships and interactions, or my perception of others' paths'. Personally, I am drawn to artists that I can grow with as they develop and continue to reinvent their sound, and I am guided by this same ideal as I create my own music.
