"'Digging up' is musically my largest accomplishment so far for a variety of reasons. One being because a good friend of mine, Preston Malin Carter, who passed away in 2003 left me his studio which was used to create the entire album. Another, is that with the exception of two tracks and one guest appearance I wrote and produced the entire album myself and having recently had a son and working a more than full time job you can imagine this was no easy task. But with the support of my wife and a lot of late nights I finally finished. The album is the culmination of the things around me that I feel the strongest about right now. It's about politics, drugs, alcohol, love, anger, humor, family, the past, the present, the everyday struggle, you know, life. . .this one means a lot to me, maybe you'll feel it too." -Moodswing
