Grimey, Haunted yet Bouyant Hip-Hop at its finest.
10 MP3 Songs
HIP HOP/RAP: Hardcore Rap, HIP HOP/RAP: West Coast Rap
Details:
That legendary mythological crew from the L.A. Underground, featuring Leviathan, Skarecrow, Mantra, Black Sun, and even Christbearer doing a cameo spot.
CHAMBERMUSIK REVIEW
When somebody buys an L.A. Underground record, we often end up with the typical West Coast beats and the usual G rhymes. Da Monstar Mob seems to refuse to be one of those groups. From the beginning of the album at its creepy intro, âNightmare B4 Xmasâ seems to grab your attention and make you raise an eyebrow. The team of Skarecrow, Leviathan, Mantra and Black Sun definitely has a unique approach to rap. From the beginning, S.K.âs beats force all attention on the verses that seem to glide with the instrumentals. The first track that jumps out you is Track 2 âStrong Armâ, which even features Christbearer of Northstar for a brief moment. Another excellent song is Track 9 âThorn Lakeâ which features one of the most bizarre choruses in all of Hip-Hop. The only flaw is the lack of collaboration with the infamous Monstar Mob cohort Warcloud. For the most part, the album is excellent, and demonstrates some of the best rising stars in Hip-Hop.
