MISOLANIUS 
Misolanius was born in Charleston, South Carolina. At the age of eleven Miso found his passion for writing rhymes and making beats. He started off composing with a simple 4track, a jam man sampler, and a cheap mic.
In 1995, the âgolden age,â was when Miso really got serious about Hip-Hop and started to write whole songs instead of just battle raps and random verses. His first song ever recorded professionally was called âFight for them Pearls,â a song that still is a hot track. Although it hasnât appeared on any of Misolaniusâs albums, âFight for Them Pearlsâ was the foundation of Misoâs style.
Miso moved to Chico California in 1999. While attending college, he continued writing songs and making beats. In 2002, Miso put out his debut album called âWhat These Eyes Have Seen,â a somewhat experimental album. He joined forces with some fellow emcees and formed a crew called Dialecs. Miso and the Dialecs crew did shows all over Chico, at clubs, bars, parties etc. and in doing so built up a fan base and made a name for themselves locally.
In 2003, Miso started working on his second solo album called âAssorted Elements.â This lyrical masterpiece features the Dialecs crew as well as DarkCead, Wes Wright and R&B vocalist Alpine. Misolanius released âAssorted Elements,â in February 2005, as well as starting his own record label called âMagnum Opus Recordsâ.
Currently Miso is residing in Oakland, California, attending recording arts school and getting a bachelors degree in applied science. Misolanius is also in the process of working on his third solo album,doing shows all over the bay and in Chico and is producing tracks and beats for films and other people on his label and is working on a group project called Monarch.
