Acoustic Guitar Country/Pop/Folk
9 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Folk Pop, COUNTRY: Country Pop
Details:
Laura Mihalkaâs first solo CD is a bundle of joy. Itâs like a new baby that you canât wait to take home from the hospital. Except that this baby does not cry, spit up or keep you in the middle of the nightâ¦.unless you choose to listen to it in the early am. I guarantee it will never spit up. Laura thinks sheâs all that and attempts to play every instrument on this album. Although after attempting to play drums, she realizes that her musical ability is not as superior as she imagined. Laura was thrown into piano lessons as the tender age of 4. She began cello lessons at age 8 and started learning âStairway to Heavenâ on the guitar at age 12. Since then, she has performed in orchestras, bands, ensembles, etc.
She, (which is me), is absolutely thrilled to finally put out a solo CD. The songs are your typical singer/songwriter stuff: fresh stringed acoustic guitar, bass, piano, drums, and lots of luscious cello. Most of the songs are about love, relationships, friends, I supposeâ¦.some about âherâ personally, some not. All I can say to encourage you, the discerning music enthusiast, to purchase âEnd of the Streetâ is that I am not sick of these songs. Itâs been many months and years in some cases, yet the songs continue to grow on me. Thank you for taking the time to sample âEnd of the Streetâ. I, I mean she, is so grateful to have the opportunity to create, record and to play music.
