Microton, a Dallas- based band, was originally forged when cousins Dunagin and Philip began playing guitar, singing, and song writing together in the mid-nineties. Having a vast array of great artist influencing them, the group has forged a unique musical styling and lyrical content. Microton was well under way and even during the early years they had an incredible musical vision.

The fruition of their vision began to take shape in the late nineties, when drummer Javier Martinez joined Dunagin and Philip. Shortly after Javier joined, Joe Becker kicked in on bass guitar. At this time Dunagin was still playing guitar. In order for Dunagin to fully concentrate on his tremendous vocals, rhythm guitarist, John McConlogue was asked to join Microton. After spending the past several years together, Microton, has developed an enriching rock sound with riveting guitar riffs, smashing percussions, and powerful vocals.

Javier and Joe focus on keeping the rhythm section tight; Philip and John skillfully blend the guitars together with Dunagins' lead vocals into a solid melodic musical experience. Microton is now ready for the public ear. Having recently left the recording studio, Microton has a new CD, CONDUCTION; with 10 songs, all of which are hot and radio ready. Recorded at Reeltime Studios with Eric Delegard, of Jibe and Edgewater fame, this CD is just a taste of what is to come. Microton is poised to take the next step that will propel them into the ranks of the Bands they have admired throughout their lives.
