I've been honing my craft for several years, frequenting the Buffalo music circuit. Playing original songs inspired by socio-political past and current events, personal demons, personal heroes, and matters of the heart. Folk music just isn't folk without a little heartbreak in the mix. As far back as I can retrieve memories, I've been singing. Music has always been a staple in my life, an absolutely necessary creative/expressive outlet. Though I was born in Buffalo, NY, I spent most of my youth growing up in Los Angeles, CA. And all along the way, from Buffalo, to Cali, and back to Buffalo again...there was music. As a child I toyed with the piano, then the violin, and eventually ended up with a guitar in my hands. Little by little I expirimented with it's possibilities, and began creating music. And once I had the taste of my own music in my mouth, I was hooked...the rest is history. Though looking back now in hindsight, that which is always in 20/20, those first songs written will never see the light of day. But I understand now...that is the process. You have to start somewhere and learn and evolve, in order to become the person you aim to be, fulfilled creatively, emotionally, etc. I think it's vital for one to be in a constant state of growth and renewal, to be everchanging. So this is my music...so far...just a few personal stories about my life experiences...my demons...my heartbreaks ...and joys. This is what I have to bring to the table...and it's my hope that from it, you can take with you something meaningful. Thanks for listening.
