Markâs first solo project âWhile Iâm Hereâ has enabled him to jumpstart his solo music career. Engineer, producer, and friend Ben MCamis and Mark came together with an array of talented musicians to fully express the music. âFor me the creativity involved with this record was my favorite part.â Mark explains, âBen and I had the opportunity to put our heads together and turn the songs into something I could never have imagined sitting in my room writing them.â This record is a compilation of deep lyrics, soft acoustics, and full sound. Listening to one track causes you to throw your hands in the air and dance, while others may bring you to tears.
The last year has been spent playing in cafes, bars, gymnasiums, camps, or anyplace with an audience to listen. Rocking a crowd with the full band rendition of âMore Than Crazyâ or serenading them with a stripped down acoustic version of âYou Aloneâ, Mark leaves an audience wanting more. Whether the crowd is 5 or 500, Markâs natural vocals and smooth melodies draw them to his music.
After the shows are over and the crowd disperses, the man left wrapping chords and carrying speakers understands that there is more to this life and more to share with his fans than his stylish good looks and witty sense of humor. âYou know a dear friend once told me that itâs not about me,â Mark states, âand I hope my music offers something more to others.â
