Details:
Malpractice has been playing great, inspirational punk rock music since 2000. Since that time the band has released two EPâs (Gunsmoke & Five Stories) and a 13 song full length album titled âStab Woundsâ. Malpracticeâs music is a mix of driving and melodic punk rock. The band is strongly influenced from all over the map. In 1999 Joe Begley (guitar) and Nate Haase (bass) began playing together and writing songs. In 2000 Jason Teasley (drums) was added to the mix along with Ron Fields (vocals) jumpstarting Malpractice. Jason wrote most of the lyrics and still writes lyrics for the band today. His lyrics portray stories of those who have fallen on hard times and sometimes even death. In 2001 Greg Stewart (guitar, vocals) joined the group and in 2003 took over the lead singing duties making the band a 4 piece. Greg also has made additions to the lyric pile with songs that make us think of the less fortunate in America as well as throughout the world. The songs also portray hope for a better world one day.
The band has played in Canada, Ohio and throughout the state of Michigan through its tenure. Malpractice has big plans for the year 2006. They will be releasing a new EP and will be playing throughout the Midwest to establish their name in the neighboring states. This fall they will be doing a small tour from the Midwest to the Northeast. As Stewart sings on their new song, 'Occupation Obligationâ the band is paving their, âown chosen road!â
