Nathasja van Rosse   Guitar - Music  of  South America

Sensible notes of her album Guitar Music of South America impress a listener
with intimacy, virtuosity and a fresh approach to compositions of Piazzolla, Ponce,
Brouwer and Barrios. Nathasja van Rosse studied classical guitar at the Royal
Conservatory in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and successfully finished her
Master Studies with Zoran Dukic at the Royal Conservatory of music in the
Hague. In Austria she met her most important teacher Prof. L. Witoszynskyj,
where she finished her course for solo and chamber-music with great success.
She played for radio and television as well solo as with orchestra travelling
through several European countries, gaining lot of critical acclaim. On Milonga
del Angel and La Muerte del Angel of Astor Piazzolla, Nathasja impresses with
a beautiful timing and tenderness in skilled techniques. Stunning interpretations
of Manuel Ponce's Sonate III, divided in Allegro Moderato ,Chanson and Allegro
non Troppo , fully absorb you with warmth and than again an expressive touch,
it is all virtuosity she expresses in a wonderful ambiance with poetic nuances.
Un Sueño en la Foresta of Barrios performed with the alluring tremolo technique
is noteworthy and provocative. Nathasja's first album Guitar Music of South
America combines as well distinguished techniques as balance, structure as
an flowing own signature with a modern approach to classical music, which
could be a source for inspiration for colleague classical guitarists.
