The Nite Lights are a Philadelphia based four-piece original rock band. Since their beginning in the summer of 2002 they have increased their local following with a stylistically diverse sound and cabaret inspired performances. Drawing from influences ranging from The Talking Heads and B-52's to Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson and Bernard Hermann, their growing reputation for creating psychological narratives coupled with solid grooves, unconventional composition, and classic guitar work has secured them frequent billing at the area's top rock venues (The Khyber, The North Star, The Fire, The Trocadero, etc.).
With the release of the CD " I Was Born A Man" the band has been receiving more and more opportunities to expand their dark vision, collaborating with other Philadelphia artists and playing more unconventional venues, exposing them to a broader and more varied audience. The Nite Lights hope to continue to affect listeners by offering them more original, unusual, and beautiful music.
