Nemesis' musical career began at the tender age of 12 in Chicago influenced by her older brother: a graf writer, rapper, gang banger, breaker, etc. In the beginning, she would sit in a cipher and then rock for her brother on the low.AS he approved Nemesis began to spit for those high and low. Nemesis loved Hip Hop b4 the world. Soon, she was a part of Chicago's elite Rap scene. The same circle where people like Common, Twilite Tone, and other Chicago local celebrity's would roll.
At 17, Nemesis Moved to NYC, and graduated as a 'token black' @ an esteemed University: Sarah Lawrence College. After graduation, Nem began to realize she could make a lot more money through her dream, than her BA back up plan .
Her experiences with life in Chicago, her sorrows, her wild days and nights, her exploration, and her highs, could be vented through her skills. After realizing this, she never looked back.
